How to choose a investment portfolio using the VizMetrics analytics

1. Find a great portfolio
- Log in to and click "Portfolio Recipes - Full Analytics" to see all the portfolios we track.
- You can use the scatterplots at the top of the page to look for portfolios closest to the top left of the chart (which represent lower risk and higher return). Point to any dot to see the portfolio ticker or ID.
- For each portfolio that you're interested in, note the portfolio ID (e.g., t.aaad)

2. Get the portfolio recipe and details
- Log in to and open the VizMetrics report containing the portfolio you're interested in.
- Click on any portfolio name to see the full range of portfolio performance metrics covering risk, return, and risk-vs-return over 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10-year periods.

3. Invest at your favorite brokerage
Use the "How to Invest" section of the portfolio's detail page to buy the desired securities at or your favorite brokerage.
- For t. portfolios, rebalance monthly.
- For s. portfolios, rebalance quarterly or annually.
- For other allocation funds, you do not need to rebalance since the asset allocation is performed by the fund manager.

4. Monitor performance
Use VizMetrics to track your portfolio's risk and return compared to benchmarks and other portfolio recipes.
